Up at 0500 hours, and ready to roll, but weather channel indicated heavy fog in Houlton, Maine. Delayed my departure until 0730 hours, after I went across the street from the motel to a gas station and asked if any of the truckers had just come north on I-95. One piped up and said yep, why? How's the fog, I ask. Thick as pea soup 'bout 30 minutes south. You are good to go, he says. So, off ...

Up at 0400 hours, and on the road by 0440 hours!

    ... But, we survived!

Got to very picturesque Bennington, VT at about 1545 hours. Sunny and nice out. Beautiful day all around. Had about 2 seconds worth of sprinkles near Rochester, NY, but that was it!

Off to Ramunto's Pizza and Pub for an early dinner, since we did not stop for lunch.

547 miles for me today, on about 2 hours of sleep. Road weary for sure!

What's the more valuable piece of information to pass on to others? It's a no brainer really. In my time at RNIB Pears I have come across referrals listing all of the things young people can't ...

... closed so stopped at the Chocolate Barn. Best fudge we've ever had. It was made with brown sugar and walnuts and had a flavor similar to tablet (a Scottish fudge my grandmother used to make). Went to Bennington battle monument where there was a revolutionary war with the Americans and the British. Stopped for some groceries then back to camp for a nice dinner and yes...................too much wine!

More interstate. I have E-Zero pass this year. It is wonderful, why didn't I do this sooner.
I am taking a vacation from the interstate for a while. Unfortunately that means poor cellular service. I will get to Kathryn's tomorrow ...
