A wedding in Augusta, GA before I set out, then meeting so many new babies (4 in total who were new to me at least), and now returning to Augusta a few days earlier than planned for this funeral of a childhood friend. A roundabout of life and death.

What to take, what to take. With three big trips in nine months this year, we are getting a little lackadaisical about packing. The suitcases are definitely feeling more like "baggage"—something constantly taking our attention and weighing us down. With each trip this year the suitcases have been made smaller and smaller to lighten the load and make the trip more carefree.
