... as we traveled and took sleeping bags and bedding with us. The cabin had a Queen bed, full bath, WiFI, air conditioning, and mini kitchen. It even had a porch swing. We enjoyed being in the cabin and had a good night's sleep. The next day we learned the hotels were so pricey and all sold out because of the oil boom in town. There are so many workers, they take all the hotels. I guess that's good for Carlsbad's ...
... a dolphin and swimming with the dolphins, a career goal was born. That's what Lily wants to do! She got teary-eyed when she said there was such a bond between the dolphin and the trainer. So sweet! Her mom informed her she will have to take a lot more swim lessons. The favorite show for all three children was "Azul." After spending time in the petting zoo, you board an enclosed trailer and head off through the "wilds" of central Texas. We saw many different deer, antelopes, rams, camels, ostrich, one lone bison, zebras, water buffaloes, emus and others I can't remember. One interesting thing, they have several cabins people can rent and stay in the middle of all the animals.
