... covered with moorings that were
hard to avoid and most of the coral completely dead, which is what idiot’s
standing on it will do and nothing notable fish-wise either, but was at least
good exercise. Left my stuff with a little old lady saying I’d be an hour and

After a prolonged shopping trip to town, siesta’d then headed
towards the “pontal” but stopped for far longer than anticipated with Lorena, the

      least and bussed back.

Went south along the beach to the river to do the
objectionable activity of taking a jangada up the mangroves, being poled along,
so the boatman could manhandle seahorses to the waiting punters, put in a glass

experience and the little sky blue sea cucumber was squirting ink too.

... of places but luckily Lorraine, a helpful English woman pointed me in the direction of couple of cheaper places and swapped some books too.

Sergio’s place came good and got a lovely seaview balcony with hammock room for 100 and value for money despite the warm fridge, elephants upstairs and hard bed.

Lorraine had given me good tips too so went south along the beach to ...
