It's been around since the Neolithic age, some 10,000 years. A layer cake of time and surprise. We enjoy a stone-oven baked pizza watching the traffic and people. After a bit of relaxation in Cinque Terre, we were ready to hop on a boat to cruise and party the Mediterranean, Aegean, and Tyrrhenian Seas with some familiar faces. After some flight issues, Rob, Dave, and Lisa landed in Rome safely a day later than expected. Blake and I took the train back down to Rome from Cinque Terre to meet them for a night of fun before the cruise left the next afternoon. Our ship was Rhapsody of the Seas of the Royal Caribbean cruise line and we would ...

... but to visit town and see what we may.

Off the ship, we walk – the city, Aghios Nikolaos, Greece (St. Nicholas), is clearly a tourist destination from all over Europe and the rest of the world. Quaint with strikingly blue water. Looking into the water can be a mesmerizing experience – the fish, the sea bottom, the clear blue waters are calling me…but alas….not possible to swim here ...
