... and so we can practice all we have learned, even though it might be somehow difficult to find some of the spices. In our group there, we had some Koreans and a couple who lived in Israel. All very nice. The chef and sous-chef were very entertaining and complemented each other very well.

Are there any Catalan cooking schools for foreigners? I would like to open one. Now I have good inspiration for it. Anyone ...

... Even busier than the streets of Bangkok city centre! Food stalls were everywhere and the many lanes that filtered off the main roads were filled with stalls selling spices, meat, fish, fruit, jewllery, Chinese gifts, clothes, drinks, you name it they sold it! Tuk tuk, cars and bikes drove down the lanes making it nearly impossible to walk down, along with the hundreds of people buying their daily goods. We seemed to be the only tourists there! ... down. When arriving at the venue we realised this was not one temple but a whole complex and what we had planned for the remainder of the day soon vanished after we saw the area. Walking down the road to try and find the entrance we were harassed by several people trying to give us "advice" on our dress and that we needed sari's.
