... With 4 hours to waste we ended up doing a little bit of shopping before sitting on the steps with a few alcoholic beverages, I have found that I can consume beer just fine as a shandy. ... by a guy offering tours. We had not planned on getting a tour, but decided it would probably be beneficial, in order to skip the lines, as well maybe learn a bit about the Vatican. I am glad we took the tour. There were people everywhere and the line up's were insane. We had a very knowledgable guide, but I must admit at times he could not keep my attention.
