    ... for the most part been terrible. As I have pointed out in the past, what we are doing is actually carrying our "small house" around with us and when we get on rough roads, everything in it bounces, rattles, creaks, and generally makes you twitch.     The kids were able to go out into the surrounding neighborhoods to order food, shop, and speak with the locals. This valuable real life experience gave them the opportunity to use their Chinese speaking abilities in the best environment suited to practice a language. They eagerly took advantage of the situation and I was proud to see them practice their Chinese!
