    ... Harper and whilst looking at his CD’s for sale he offered to play 3 songs from them to see if we liked what we heard.

    How cool, a live performance in such an intimate setting just for us! We did indeed like all 3 songs and happily parted with $10 for our musical memory of our time in Sandwich listening to Gregg Harper in The Brown Jug.

    Back home there was plenty more in store for ...

    ... see the water plumes of whales not far off the beach. Difficult to actually see the whales even through the telescopes at the visitors centre. Provincetown has been the highlight of our time in Cape Cod, quite old but with new life from the gay community and bohemian themes, and another great place to scoff lobster!

    ... rain, which gave us another flavor of the magic places, we read about when JFK was our 35th president.

    Observation: Living out west all our lives, we had no inkling of the places we studied in Bud Murray’s American History class! What a blessing to be able to experience them now! We are driving up the Cape today, headed to Nantucket tomorrow and I can’t wait for Plymouth Rock on Wednesday!

    ... so once again we motored some and did get some sailing in when the wind picked up. Another perfect sunny day. I have had so much sun, I stayed in the cockpit reading. We went through the Cape Cod Canal in 45 minutes because we were with the tide. If we hadn't timed it, it could take over 2 hrs to get through against it.     ... needed to go babysit so I went to the beach club and hung out. Everyone had finished work so we had a few pre drinks then went to town. We went to the shanty to drink. There was a sailor theme party going on. It was fun again but it was again filled with pretentious fags. I just got drunk and laughed at them again.
