      Second day at SEA Semester.
We had the usual intro to courses, syllabus, book, materials and so on. But the highlight of the day was the visit to the library of Woods Hole. There we had the chance to see books as old as the 1500s, depicting illustrations and ...

Arrived on campus and made my way to the house. We are 18 students in total, 2 houses of 9 students each. On the first floor there is a large kitchen and living room, a bathroom and a bedroom. Upstairs there are 3 bedroom and one bathroom. Each night there is one or two people that are in charge of cooking dinner for the house following a schedule.

to have to be driven back to Chatham 45 minutes away, only to have to reverse
ourselves to leave Cape Cod, especially on a Friday afternoon.

What happened to the 45 minute ride to Woods Hole? It was a straight ride on
Route 28, but not as fast as we were told when you had to deal with the traffic

... that travel across many parts of the island, we had decided to bike the entire way today. So we had to start earlier than most vacation days at 8AM. We bid a rather resigned and somewhat wistful goodbye to the rambling beach hostel and took off down Polpis Road towards the nature preserve. We passed several wetlands and ponds and the sun was starting to really beat down despite being so early. We arrived at the preserve gatehouse in just under an hour after 9 miles ...
