This morning I went with Rod Broadbelt to hike at Raven Rock State Park. I was a little late arriving at the park due to construction on NC-55 driving down there, so as soon as I arrived, we headed out on the Campbell Creek Loop Trail. ... the GPS to get us to our location. We were attempting to go to a parade downtown and then to the Airborne Museum and the Fayetteville Veteran's Memorial Park. We made it downtown without any problems...we even found parking. The parade had started when we got there but we didn't miss much. Fort Bragg Adventure

... Fort Bragg wasn't the place to get mail either, we were hoping to get General Delivery mail but Fort Bragg sent us to downtown Fayetteville. UPS or FedEx wasn't an option at this campsite either. After our adventurous day we were very happy to get back to our safe little campground and trailer! More adventures tomorrow!

( The directions that the campground office gave us were spot on.....if only we hadn't missed our turn!)
