    Joanne and I are off to see Melanie In Vancouver next week. Normally a family visit would not warrant a blog but our plan is to visit Vancouver Island and tour.
    This SHOULD be a relatively safe trip for the Baileys unless our Prime Minister keeps ticking off ...

Quinte West, and seek out a rock-- not just any rock but the Bleasdell Boulder which according to the brochure is "one of the largest known glacial erratics in North America, estimated to be 2.3 billion years old." We have enjoyed our rural explorations and today was no different. As we neared Frankford we hadn't found the boulder yet but did follow some of the Trent River and encountered small dams ...

    ... joins the inland waterways between Lake Ontario and Lake Huron. So much I am learning about Ontario that I didn't have a clue about. In the past we crossed Canada on the Trans-Canada highway to Montreal the one time and the other time we went to Niagara Falls and then on to Montreal so probably took the 401 to travel as quickly as possible.

    The highlights of the day, according to Denis: the visit to the UEL museum/house and the little ferry.

    ... to go. :-( But we are off to Marseilles. Picking up Maija, then heading to the airport to meet Dorothy. The flight with BA leaves at 9:20 PM. Boy, has Terminal 3 ever improved. The seating at the gates is now comfortable tables with Ipads for everyone, or long bars to sit at. Very ...

    Every year when March rolls around we can't wait to head to Vermont's best kept secret - Bolton Valley. This year we are glad to have the Casey family joining us for the trip. The temperature at Bolton has stayed on the cool side and the conditions are supposed to be great. We will know soon enough.
