I arrived in Reno on July 3 to visit with the grand girls for several days.

July 7 - Overnight to Kings Beach on Lake Tahoe with grand girls, Bernadette, and B's mom.

July 9 -- Travel from Reno to Sacramento, CA, over Donner Summit (7239). It's all downhill from there.

... There was an old stamp mill that removed precious metals from the rock and a Basque Sheepherder's Oven that made bread for the same. Then we headed out to Grover Hot Springs where the temperature of the water was anywhere from 101 - 105 degrees.
