    This morning it's off to Jungfrau via train - the highest accessible point in all of Europe standing at 11,333ft!! As you can imagine the altitude can make you feel quite sick so the trip takes 2 1/2 hours via train and you need to drink lots of water and eat chocolate to help with the dizziness and headaches. ...

    ... Noelene was very careful not to trip as her shoes were not the best for rough terrain.     Caught the train into Switzerland, saw snow covered mountain peaks as soon as we entered the country - very nice scenery. Arrived into Geneva, transferred to another train and trundled onto Bern. Instantly recognised better English- most Swiss speak German, and instantly noticed increase in prices- trains were stupidly expensive, double what France was.     ... exhilarated. This was the best way to start off the trip of a lifetime!!

    The remaining time in Interlaken was spent exploring the town. We walked around the lakes and hung out at some local pubs. This down time for relaxing is exactly what we all needed after the busy weekend trips and the action-packed first day.
