Four AM came extremely fast and as I lay in bed waiting for the second snooze alarm to go off, all I was thinking of was the weather. ... this last week with very little rain (I can’t tell you how difficult it is camping in the rain) and had a perfect clear blue sky at the top of the mountain. It took us about 3.5hrs to complete the hike and we were definitely feeling it once we got back to the car. There is something very accomplishing about completing a steep, tough hike like this one. Walking back from the pier, Leon says, 'That looks like your cousin Joe, from Owensboro." I said "oh my gosh, that's my 1st cousin's wife, Rose Mary". They saw us and we all are amazed. Here we are in Maine with our RV, and they had gotten off of the cruise ship. What a rare coincidence!!!!!!!!!!!
