... Mountain, the first place in the USA to receive the morning sun. We chose to see the sunset instead...for obvious reasons. The 360 degree panoramic views were amazing and were juiced up by the visible air pollution. This far north eastern corner of the USA due to the prevailing winds is the dumping ground for both the mid-west and north east, collecting gases from Chicago and NYC.

At least something good comes from it I suppose as the colour ...

Hiked Beech Mountain. Another strenuous climb up but worth the views. Jack has become quite the billy goat. Hit one section where it was truly just straight down. ... a current location/weather channel like NCL or Celebrity ships have.
The waiters on deck 15 for the buffet will serve you coffee and water - you don't have to serve yourself. Very nice change from NCL and Celebrity.

For dinner I had:

Deep fried sushi with bacardi wasabi emulsion
Tandori fire-roasted tiger prawns with yogurt raita & saffron Basmati rice and crisp poppadums (ie rice potato chips)
Frozen chocolate praline tort with almond florentine crisp

... high point. There is ample parking and it was best to get there early because tour buses begin to arrive and then you have all those annoying older folks who just mosey along and don’t seem to care if they get in your way! I enjoy the fact that older people, or any people for that matter, like to travel but bus loads of them just drive me nuts. Anyway, there is a very nice paved walkway around the summit area that is not too strenuous. ...

... get bigger untill they are adults. It takes 6 weeks plus to attain that size in the wild but in captivity they can do it in only 2 weeks. Wow. Still there is no data to indicate that captive bread and released lobster have a higher survival rate hence there is only one hatchery left in North America. And they are trying to be self funded as there isn't much money coming in these days from the government. Following the hatchery it was Walmart ...
