... a while since they were in business. It's sad to see these mom and pop shops and hotels crumbling down. I guess when interstate 40 went in, folks could travel faster and stopped taking route 66. Small town America gone.

... We continued down the trail quite a ways and never found the cemetery so we turned around. We saw a large wall of stacked rocks - perhaps that was the cemetery not really sure. On the way back I spotted the tail end of a snake after Shane had walked passed it. We looked for him for a while but couldn't find him.
