We have cycled all the tracks on the island this week and clocked up about 80 miles in 6 days. Luckily, most of it was flat as we did it on "shopper" bikes. Nice baskets ...

Weather this morning dull and overcast.
We decided to go north to do the bike tracks we missed out the other day, calling in to the market at La Gueriniere on the way.
Nothing too exciting – just another day at L'Herbaudiere.

... so we thought things may be looking up. The food was very good – M had charcuterie to start. I had curried prawns and tuna steak as a main. Our waitress was very good – the other one swanned around with a trout pout looking like she was doing us all a favour just by being there.

M went for a swim in the sea when we got back from cycling. He didn't stay in long – very cold.
