Another wet start, tents and things started to get pretty damp. A new chill in the air aswell, did add poetry to a very pretty area, the woods envelope eveything around so it feels wild. Trevs rear tyre went pop, we managed to sort it out so we could ride... only very slowly to Bastogne. It was meant to be a rest day but we ended up doing 20 miles that took us hours. ... tried to help, after he got his hands a tad opily he left for the toilet being no help at all. Bless him! Finally got it sorted and it didn,t take us too long to find a nice wood for the night. We risked our first fire of the trip, sat down to an odd rissoto made of rice and a cuppa soup thing helped down with a few tinnies as we gazed into the fire. Rain followed us to bed.
