... getting our bearings. Our first introduction to the efficient MTR (underground) system was today - getting from Kowloon back to HK Island. ... We decided against Macau this time and as we are not theme park fans we missed out on Ocean Park and Disneyland but both are very easy on public transport.

For shopping you can’t beat it( if that’s what you want) and although accommodation costs are higher the transport and food are not. Buying alcohol is good value in the smaller back street restaurants and that’s where we found the best food anyway. Another great stay and we are looking forward to going to The Philippines ...
