        Mark and Bailey headed off to Indianna at about 4.30am to go to a Motorcross event at Crawfordsville. The rest of us had some breakfast and then Steve came over and him and Monti took their bikes for a run, with the rest of us following in the car.

        However that was Friday night and we couldn't get a repairman until Monday. He came on Monday morning and was able to fix the frig. Yay!!! That's much better than having to get a new one and having it brought in through the front window. Very expensive.
        So on the weekend we went to the Madison Farmer's Market. It's very large and there are stalls all the way around the state capitol building in downtown Madison. ...

        ... leg room on trains made me feel even more spoiled. On the topic of public transportation, the bus system was certainly a double edged sword. While it was very nice to actually have a bus system with frequent stops and many lines, having to rely completely on it was still a pain. I think even having a bike would have really helped, but I never found any budget bikes for sale in Germany. Even the cheapest bikes seemed to be over 700 Euros. Additionally, ...
