... travel partner! So as I'm starting to near the age of 40, I'm deciding to put my big girl panties on and travel solo. Alone. Such a scary and depressing word to me in many ways, but also a word of comfort in my life. My plan is to make it a word of strength instead. At some point this summer, my first solo trip is waiting. I'm planning to take a driving trip west during the most beautiful time ...

It's not much of an exaggeration to say that there's nothing across southern Minnesota. A lot of wind farms and corn fields followed by your casual slight left hand turn every 100 miles. The area near the Mississippi River was beautiful. Reminded me a lot of Vermont actually... After that though, nothing to write home about (or ...

... was a brilliant and very gifted architect, he was a total, and egotistical jerk. We did not buy anything in the very pricy gift shop, but I did pay an extra $5.00 for the privilege of taking photos inside the house. Oooh la la. It was worth it as I love to take pictures and I love architecture. After the tour, we got back under way to finish the over 6 hours to St. Paul. We hope to get to our friend's house before 11 pm tonight. We crossed from Illinois to Wisconsin next is ...
