    Today was a great day and a foody day. We heading south to Medford, OR and got a tour of the Hearing Dog School. They were great...yhey use only rescue dogs from the pound and train them as hearing dogs for deaf/hard-of-hearing people. Good Sam (national RV Group) is their biggest sponsor.

    Then we headed over to Harry & Davids..the gift basket people. ...

    ... oncoming traffic. She was okay, but that car was totaled. [Semi sales plug] Never have we been more thankful for choosing our Subaru! We feel so safe having AWD in these conditions. That's what these cars are made for! The weather also improved– the temperatures warmed and the rain slowed. We made it safely to Ashland in a little over an hour.

    ... and sauteed asparagus. Once Anne and Michael returned home from work, we enjoyed dinner outside on the rooftop. After dinner, a quick walk to the yogurt shop provided dessert. We returned home for our final Euchre match. I am thinking Anne and Michael might want a rematch sometime. All in all it was it was a most outstanding day.

    ... out. They offered rides at 8am, 9:30am, 10am, and 11am. We were shooting for the 9:30am time because we had a 10:30 tour time.

    I awoke at 6:30 with a horrible backache, started coffee, and told the kids it was time to wake up. Nobody budged and we ran out of time so we settled on just the tour. We arrived a little early, at 10:15 and waited for the tour guide, who was running late. We sat by the pond and talked about why we liked this ranch better than the last ...
