On the road again! Re-packed and now Mike's stroller is much more accessible. Looking to put in a LOT of miles today. I know it seems crazy to have no plan. Decided to bering Rosie all the way and not leave her at a kennel in Wisconsin. RELUCTANTLY, we dropped her off at one near the Arrowwod Resort. First report was positive, that her tail was wagging and she was happy..... Still not totally comfortable but will keep checking on her... May have to violate the resort rules ...
We drove all across Interstate 94 thru North Dakota ... flat and barren, to Fargo, and into another time zone! We made it to Minnesota to visit Mary Kaye Ludewig, a Siemens friend. So much to catch up on and compare retirement days! Mary Kaye, a Minneapolis resident, has a lovely lake house on Lake Louise ( two hours north of Mpls). So happy she invited us to stay and visit. ...
... and on highway at 10:25. Stopped at Clearwater to get RV washed.......waited 2 hours for our turn......68.61...visa. It's CLEAN! Got a chicken caesar wrap to share for lunch......12.60 cash. Stopped at Stoney Creek Campground by Osseo, WI for the nite.......34.82....visa. Since lunch was so late (about 3:00) we were not very hungry for supper. Joel fixed fried egg sandwiches......delicious......with bourbon to drink. Played one game of cribbage.....Joel ...
