Not enjoying Tampico

We arrive in Tampico tired and get a taxi out to a hotel that no longer exists. Our taxi driver suggests another which is undergoing building work, and we end up at the beach front where half the hotels are stupidy expensive towers of sanity, or grimy part-time brothels. We end up back at the bus station and buy our tickets out for the next morning!

... The first night I spent just soaking in the scenery. We are located in between The Cabos, so the first night we decided to be adventurous and take the bus towards Cabo San Lucas. Let me tell you, chivalry is not dead in Mexico! The bus was packed, but as soon as we got on three men stood so that Lisa, Kelly and I could have a seat!
