Apres mon temps a Hermosillo, jai decide daller a lendroit le plus proche ou je pourrais me trouver un travail dans le secteur touristique : Puerto Vallarta. A part des plages et des hotels, je ne savais pas du tout a quoi mattendre. Il sagit toujours bien de la 2ieme destinations touristique du pays. Un bon voyage de 21 heures dautobus me separait de cette destination. Apres 20 minutes de taxi jarrive a lhotel et apres juste 20 minutes dans ma chambre, je glisse ...

On our way back to the hostel we also witnessed baby turtles being released from their nest and attempting to make that perilous first journey into the water.

... around the prom. We also saw the rock divers - these guys have to "fly" out from their jumping off point to miss the rocks below - quite a sight. We´ve met a few really nice people on board so that´s been an added interest. I´ve worn my kilt to dinner every evening and met loads of "Scaaats"! "Hey I like your kilt - Ah´m Scaaatish! ... the wall to the shower head. There isn't any hot water so the shower head heats up. Another funny thing is that you have to turn the water on first and then move the switch. Hmmmm? Wet hands and electrical switches... not my idea of safe. The other couple pictures are from random nights out and random days at the beach.

... for our last night in Puerto Vallarta. We grabbed a taxi and the driver suggested we go to the Happy Lobster to help satisfy our seafood craving. The service and food was great. Before long we were back at our hotel to pack for our return home tomorrow.

You're tired, hungry (because the planes you were travelling on all day did not feed you anything because of course they were each only two hours long a piece). ... snacks, but it was likely a combination of both. As we generally do, we forced ourselves up and out of bed to pay the price for the antics we so willingly indulged in the day before. In the early morning we again cleaned the van and attacked the massive pile of dishes that accumulated from dinner. ... everybody has to hang on or topple over. Some freeze, clutching to the chain link fence that keeps them from falling into the river, and have to be rescued. Some shout and scream in anger or fear, and others, mostly, laugh and have fun with it. One Mexican guy carried his girlfriend across. Strolling along the Malecon was fun too just to people watch.
