... Hotel. My friends here took good care of me and I'll right them up on Trip Advisor when I return. However, peace and relaxation will soon be replaced with noise, confusion and disappointment. ... Mayan for the next three weeks. We will miss the lively atmosphere of this town so may have to come in by cab a few times. We will have a kitchen so will do some meals but we love Mexican food so....... After our time at Mayan we will take the bus to Guadalahara for a few days, then bus to Leon. We will rent a car there to visit San Migel de Allende and some of the other interesting towns up ...
... Now, here is the highlight: Last year, when we went on the food tour, we went to a ceviche restaurant where we had the best ceviche. It was our mission to find it. And we did! This place was an absolute hole in the wall, and, miraculously, we found it. We ordered smoked marlin ceviche and guacamole. We ate until we were stuffed. It was the most amazing food we have eaten on the whole trip. All for eight dollars. If anyone is interested, the place ...
... sleepy and quiet. We spent about 30 minutes wandering around and then ended up becoming part of a confusing organization to get us on a new bus. We were asked (our group of 6) to split up and they needed 4 to leave immediately on a big bus. There was a group of 4 people that knew each other and they left, although we had quickly made friends with two sisters and they briefly hesitated about going with their couple friend and at last minute went after making sure ...
... Later today we will go to the beach,
visit, relax, read, rest, swim, etc..
We have had our coffee and fruit salad,
and now its time for pancakes, so I'll let you get back to your
coffee and I'll start the pancakes. We hope to have a little visit
today with Umberto, a friend from Canada, Roland's dad who is staying
here. It's sure a small world
