... great warmth. He welcoming us, and asked us what we had planned during our stay. Sharan asked about parasailing and snorkeling, and Roman had some suggestions for tours for us.

We found our room, which was incredibly charming. Pale yellow walls with white molding and a wide border of pale blue around the top. Framed Audubon prints on the wall and a white iron bed. And the view? Stunning. Our room overlooked the pool-sized hot tub, surrounded by a ...

The trip to Key West was longer than I expected- it's 1300 miles one way from Shreveport- but an enjoyable one, and I had never been to the Keys.

Lacey, of course, went along and enjoyed her first opportunity to get her ...

... All up the drive was 16 and a half hours & covered 1700 kms (was longer because of numerous wrong turns). Met a man from Escape Camper-vans at the Miami International Airport which looked like a run down **** hole from the outside. Collected our wicked camper-van & at his advice headed to Florida Keys which was another 3 hours and 40 minutes & 260 kms. Googled camping sites & went with Boyds camping ground which is in Key West ...
