... but just a little damp, which wasn't helped by the weather. Jake feels like it was a waste of money, but I hope to change his mind on Friday when we will return. We personally wouldn't come again and wouldn't bring our future kids (wait/lines, screaming kids, spoilt kids, passable rides at times, everything is hideously expensive) so future grandparents: get ready! It's up to you! It's been a long day. We will have a sleep in tomorrow before going to collect Jake's ...

... hours to explore on our own until the park closed. I used this extra time to explore the upper and lower sections of the park more, take photos and browse the shops. Once the park closed I headed into Universal City Walk for dinner, at Bubba Gump's Shrimp place, and a wander in a few shops before treating myself to a yummy frozen yoghurt, then requesting my Uber ride back to Anaheim, which only took about 50 minutes, being well after peak hour. Another pleasant experience and great ...

... on as the Mt. Lowe trail, a former trolly rail car route in the early 1900s. We snaked our way up, stopping multiple times for snack breaks and video opportunities. At 3:00pm we seemed to be close to the top, but it felt like we were headed in the wrong direction. We considered turning back, but stuck to our 3:15 rule. A few minutes later we came around a bend and found Inspiration Point, a really neat lookout over the city of LA. From the top we could see ...
