    ... the Bartram Country Club and Mark showed us some of the local area sights including the gates of the beautiful Augusta National Golf Club and downtown Augusta, which is pretty cool.

    This trip was a bit of a blast from the past and confirmed we can no longer hang with the big dogs and function properly. Back to the comfortable role of grandparents as we head north to spend couple of days with our son Shawn and his beautiful family in New Bern, NC.

    ... distinct regional cultures. It’s cool to see, and I think this is the reason I loved the south so much. The whole thing feels like you are cruising through a movie set, 50-100 years ago. I would highly recommend going to Papa Joe’s too for anyone visiting the States. They have it every May, this was it’s 5th year. The people, food, music and venue are fabulous – a true Southern experience! ...
