Als allererstes allen Vätern alles Gute zum neuseeländischen Vatertag! Diesen Tag kann man hier einfach nicht nicht mitkriegen, denn seit Wochen läuft Vatertagswerbung der Baumärkte in Radio und Fernsehen.

We packed up and left about 10am so we would arrive at Cathedral Caves with time to walk there at low tide. So far so good – but we found the road to the carpark way too steep for our car and caravan so went back to walk to MacLean Falls. Bruce discovered we had no brakes on the caravan as the fluid reservoir was empty meaning we had no brakes on 'van! So we gave away any more sightseeing and set off ...
