... just kept explaining the we were from the UK which seemed to satisfy our audience.

Dried off, did a bit of long jump and then sat up in the Life guard's chair- it was about 6pm and all the lifeguards had left. The sun was cooling off but the wind was still up. As it happened the hollow tubes at the back of the elevated chair we were all crushed into kept catching the breeze and playing different notes- a really unexpectedly magic moment.

Headed home a bit windswept.

... to pay $50k a week. Actors Jake Gyllenhall, Bill Murray and Ted Dansen and musicians Carly Simon and James Taylor all own property on Martha's Vineyard. We also took a drive by the cemetery. American comedian and actor John Belushi was buried here after his death in the 1982. ... shell on the top and winded herself and cut two fingers as well. Razor sharp shells all over- bring back Cornwall and weaver fish. Extent of team injuries outlined below in the photos.

Greater injury was the parking ticket we got for not displaying a 'Beach Permit' - smallest sign ever at approach to beach so now need to work out how to pay a fine when it wants a cheque. Ho hum. Only $30 but a hassle.

Although we originally had aspirations of visiting Vermont - just to say we'd been there - our plans changed...yet again.
