... Plymouth for a history lesson, and Boston for some big city fun (Bruins game and Toad the Wet Sprocket concert). It turns out that I have quite a bit more to say in this entry than previously planned as we saw and experienced so much history here in Massachusetts. Salem is quite an eclectic town and has impressively built an entire industry around arguably one of the most tragic events in American history - the witch trials of 1692, which we learned only lasted nine months ...

... we got to the Cape. We decided that she wouldn't. That lasted for about 20 minutes.

We headed north to the 195 and onwards into Massachusetts (again). Stopped for some fuel(gas) where the attendant asked how much we wanted to buy - I said I had no idea. We plumped for $60. It cost $32. That's about 20 to FILL a car. And they were complaining about gas prices on the TV at the start of the holiday!

We carried on down the 25 ...

... Primary (like my school back home). It was COLD in Chatham - very cold. but we still looked around the streets and visited the park which had a great display for Halloween. From here we drove to Provincetown at the end of the Cape.
Saturday we went over on the big ferry to Martha's Vineyard (an island off Cape Cod). It was so windy and cold, but we had a good time.

... kinda place. Woods Hole last, but not least. The entire town is a research center with a few restaurants thrown in to feed the tourists who feed the parking meters... The aquarium and museum are small but first rate. Got lotsa fish pics I know you'll enjoy. This is the final hurrah for the Cape, next it's off towards Wash. DC, but first we've got to get around or through ...
