This was a fantastic trip, and Meg did a great job planning it. We packed a lot of great experiences into a relatively short amount of time. But it was a little exhausting at times. We traveled a lot. And when you add to it the fact that I had just spent a week in San Diego for work the week before our trip, and we were in Syracuse the weekend just a few days before, it made for a very busy three weeks for ...

... was 17 (13 years ago!!?!) I went to France with a high school French Club group. None of this technology existed. We wandered around cities like Chamonix and Paris without a map. Some of our best discoveries were when we went off plan and decided to check out little shops and bookstores along the ...

    I didn't need those jeans...

I also realized I had too many clothes packed/planned. The original idea was to do laundry and have 5-6 changes of clothing to wear. Except I ended up with 10 shirts, 3 shorts, 1 pair of jeans, 3 skirts, and 2 dresses. Too much.

After making some difficult decisions, I realized - I really didn't need jeans. It's supposed to be in the ...

... was being dredged, so we passed very slowly. It was getting dark and we just barely had time to find a spot to tie up for the evening before we lost sunlight.

We had a terrific day on the water today. We traveled 80 miles and ended up in Rochester, NY.

We are tired, but enjoying every minute of this trip. So far so good and we are ready for day three!!
