This was a fantastic trip, and Meg did a great job planning it. We packed a lot of great experiences into a relatively short amount of time. But it was a little exhausting at times. We traveled a lot. And when you add to it the fact that I had just spent a week in San Diego for work the week before our trip, and we were in Syracuse the weekend just a few days before, it made for a very busy three weeks for ...
... of bathrooms. For free. I mean, come on. Italy is already making tons and tons of money off of tourists who are happy to pay high attraction prices, is it really necessary to charge 50 cents AFTER someone has already paid 9 Euro to see something?
If (and when?) we go back, we won't go in the middle of summer. So hot. We'll go in like, December. When you can add more clothes. I bet Italy is beautiful in the winter!

After making some difficult decisions, I realized - I really didn't need jeans. It's supposed to be in the ...
... was being dredged, so we passed very slowly. It was getting dark and we just barely had time to find a spot to tie up for the evening before we lost sunlight.
We had a terrific day on the water today. We traveled 80 miles and ended up in Rochester, NY.
We are tired, but enjoying every minute of this trip. So far so good and we are ready for day three!!
