    ... doing very little. For a small lodge the place was well equipped, with two kitchens, a massive common room with Sky TV and a pool table, and even a sauna!

    We also spoke to one of the school teacher's who was guiding the trip who was very friendly.. she even offered one of her children, who was my age, to show me around Hamilton a bit if I was here for a longer period. But however.. it was Oma's birthday this week and we had lots planned!!

    We ended the day relaxing at home, Oma with her ice-cream and me with a nice cool cider.

    By dinner time, Kip and his sweetheart, Jane, arrived at casa Mandeno, and we all had a fabulous meal, completed with a truly gourmet dessert. Immigrating feels so much easier knowing we have a second family here. Thank you all for making us feel so welcome and at home!
