    More goodbyes

... Lydia, Franzi and I. We somehow negotiated the bus network and got the bus back to their hostel. Whilst on the way I got a message from Alex saying he'd left his new pillow back at the other hostel and that the receipt was in the bag so he said we could take it back and that we could keep the money but I'll probably send it back somewhen. Fish and chips again at the wharf - snapper, lemon fish (apparently that’s shark) and gurnard.. yummy.

Still living in our little holiday bubble… sleeping a lot, chilling, surfing. We had Toni and Steve here yesterday (who we are renting from) – and had our first social barbeque. Stu did his usual thing and downed most of a bottle of ...

... to the set location. There was only ONE sign the whole way and it was about a quarter mile up the road from the location.

We found out that Peter Jackson co-owns the tourist attraction with the farm owners. The first set they built was partially torn down and the farm owner had a lot of people come up to him asking for a tour, so he called New Line Cinemas up and they struck a deal. They also needed to come back for the Hobbit movies so instead ...
