... show.. Peter Pan, in which Poppy is Peter and Ollie is Smee. Both seem to have the 'Wheaton' exhibitionist streak in them (er not me!)

In New Zealand we have had two rental houses and we have always, even in England had bungalows so we're having two changes in our new house. One, we are buying a new house in New Zealand and two we are getting a two story house! I am pretty psyched because we are finally buying a house and also having a two story one! In ...

So we fell pretty lucky to find our new house. As is the way with these things, it was the builder working on the house we were living in who mentioned he was looking for tenants. Its a typical batch; bits added on here and there, no central heating or double glazing. But, it's full of character, a great harbor-side location and has a fire with back burner and bath, which also seems to be unusual. The house is a ...

They said there was space for me but there really wasn't so I actually ended up sleeping on the passenger front seat. Obviously it wasn't the comfiest of sleeps but it was as bad as I originally thought so was okay. When I woke up it was like that feeling where ...

... what we all needed. (This was one of the smallest days in the past few weeks – 1 foot on magic seaweed, but for me a perfect size.. shoulder height, mega clean and no wind.. big smiles all round. Ollie met up with some boys his age. They are mostly great surfers, but he has developed the confidence to paddle out with them. He is now riding a grommet board (a 5.6) but doing well. One of his new mates who shreds pushes Ollie into waves!

... the sale. So I got myself a nice warm jumper reduced from $80 to $13. I do love a bargain! After shopping I walked over to Hamilton Lake and sat and read for a while. To locals it's probably the equivalent of what Pugneys is to me but I appreciated it. That evening I got talking to a French girl who's working in Hamilton and a New Zealander. He was nice and actually gave me about 5 free beers, but I was a little wary of him. He may well just have been a really nice guy but when ...
