      ... way. The canopy was abruptly sold knowing it wouldn't get use with young children in the family. Well time has past, and this trip is calling for a similar set up. I bought an aluminium tray back canopy and set about fitting it out with fridge on slide, deep cycle battery, stove with two gas burners, tables, storage aplenty for everything a trip like this would need such as extra water and fuel. ...

      ... Park. We drove along more winding mountain roads before descending and arriving at a small town called Canungra. Here we turned onto the road to the national park, which was another 34km away at the end of a dead end road.       ... foot and I nearly threw up when I saw it, so gross! The boys had to carry her back down to the hostel to get it all checked over. Felt so sorry for her because there was no way she'd be walking on it for at least 2 weeks. In the evening I met THE GIRLS! Jenny, Amy and Esther who became my travel buddies for the rest of the trip. Great girls, absolutely hilarious!
