... One guy even had a Human Kinetics book out making sure he was doing things right!
The weather cooperated until we were finished and then the rain came down at Sand Beach. We caught the bus back to Jordan Pond and had the popovers and lemonade one last time.
We really had a great time visiting Acadia National Park. If you haven't been hopefully you can put it on your bucket list.
Time to move on to ...

... problem as us, a decision was made. We would go down the Cadillac West Face Trail, a moderate trail or if you read another map in the park a strenuous trail. Well it had to be the hardest trail going down Suzanne and I had ever done. To call it a trail is not being truthful, it is follow the blue paint down a rock slide for 1/2 a mile. ... a lighthouse of the coast to check out the puffin, turns and other birds nesting there. I didn't get a good look at any puffin but we did see a large male seal in the water off the island. I was never in a good spot to get a photo when he came up. After that we headed a mile out in the Ocean (Gulf of Maine) this is the summer feeding grounds for Humpback, Finback and other whales.
