    ... We were greeted with warm chocolate chip cookies at the Acadia Inn. They even provided us with a hose and buckets and chrome polishing cloths so we could shine up the bikes! At 6 pm we were scheduled for a group ride through Bar Harbor to the village square.

    ... The pink, gray and black fine grained granite is gorgeously beautiful, with wild gardens in the crevices where soil has slowly accumulated.     ... 50's and today in the low to mid 80's. The stores were packed with people and the streets were covered by vehicles. As we left Bar Harbor at about 2 o'clock, we were amazed that the street into the town had every parking spot filled for almost a mile leaving town.
