... We were blasted all morning with loud thunder & pounding rain! When we looked outside we were surrounded by water!! The heavy rain finally subsided so it was time to go & stock up on groceries and get a new SIM card for the phone so we wouldn't have to pay those hefty roaming charges!

We finally got to Acadia Park on Thursday, October 9th, it was a glorious sunny day so we ...

We thought we would stop at the Jordan Pond House for some popovers and tea, BUT it was packed with tourists and the wait for a table was almost an hour. The ocean temperature is probably in the 50s and I did not see anyone actually swimming in it. Most people put their feet in, but one little girl was so excited while running away from the waves that she fell down and got all wet! I was glad that did not happen to me as the water ...

... step outside is impossible. With our eyes glued to the brightest stars we had ever seen, we sat speechless as if we were seeing the night sky for the first time. Not only was the night sky a magical so were all of rocks that jutted out from the shore into translucent crystal like water. We sat and picnicked and enjoyed the rays of sun and the breeze while the gentle sound ...
