... have also never ever seen a queue as long either but it is well worth it! every morning we would get 2 different pastries and we bought a glass bottle for €2 and the nice lady fills it with freshly squeezed orange juice for 55 cents! Breakfast of champions! Next would be the crucial decision of pool or beach... Checked out of our paris home and had a casual journey to gare de Lyon - till I realised the train went at 10.07 not 10.30! Luckily we just made the train! Just as I was doing laundry the heavens opened – which was great for the washing down
the decks but dreadful as we didn't managed to close all the hatches in good timing. At least the surfaces that got wet were with rain water and not salty water.

Unfortunately after about an hour of Lorna driving, it was very stop start and we were drastically losing the race against the Sat Nav as Lorna made about 15 mins progress within an hour.. We changed over after Lorna did a couple of hours, I got a coffee from the services and we stretched out legs a big before what was supposed to be the last 2 hours of the journey, fortunately it was reasonably straight forward ...
