Kyoto Castles and Jamming under the Bridge
... br> What surprised me most was that there several bridge walkways around Kyoto- but the main one in Pontoncho at night, attracts heaps of musicians and just random people looking for some groove (and the genres are very diverse) - so you get the sound of music and drums floating up from under the bridge and even though its very dark...you can make out the various folks jamming away on anything they can get their hands on...its very cool.

Day 35 - Free day!
... this morning, and then we headed back into the city. Did some more shopping, ate some lunch, laundry and now blogging.
We need to work out what we will be doing for the next few days as its Sakura (cherry blossoms) time! We have been waiting for this, since we arrived! We think they will bloom in the next day or so, well we hope anyway! :)

Vanalles gezien.. Lange wandelingen onder kilometers van torii, het gouden paviljoen, maar vooral ook: lekker luieren in de zon (in de tuin van het oude keizerlijk paleis!)
