      ... well over five hours and we got off before it got back to the start. We did actually get to ride the bus through most of the city and over the Golden Gate Bridge and through all the historical parts of the city, eg Russian Hill, Chinatown, Lombard Street the most crooked road in the world and the Haight-Ashbury district sought out by hippies.       ... and the boat stopped. The next question was "What time is your flight??" Turns out the motor had blown and we were stuck in the middle of the sea, rocking a bunch, in complete darkness. This took "scared" to a whole new level. About 45 rocky minutes later, we were rescued by a slightly bigger boat and made it to shore safely. Phew.
