This hotel was very clean, very affordable (we got it for $38/night) and got a lot for our money. Clean room, with mini fridge and microwave. Tv with cable, and free wifi internet.

Would stay here again!

Then it was just a short walk to Weeks Ringles Modern ...

... htm) The cafe was highlighted on the Food Network channel on the show "Best Pies Made With Eggs". Jeff and I shared a piece of their infamous lemon meringue. It was delicious and well worth the stop. As I am typing this post, we are driving west on I-70 towards Kansas City. Our plan is to drive to Manhattan, Kansas where we will spend the night. Then tomorrow we want to find the Manhattan cemetery where Jeff's grandmother was buried. I will post more tomorrow. Until ...
