Our first stop is a lunch cruise on the Loboc river. It’s cheesy as hell, with a young crooner ripping out 60’s tunes and a stop on the bank to watch a hokey local dance troupe and the all girl ukulele troupe strum their quaint dance numbers. Thank god the food was pretty good, is the only summary we can give this journey down into the abyss of clichéd tour itineraries.

From a distance, the back wall did not seem recessed as much. It housed several rows of statues of Saints unlike the usual single Crucifix or Virgin Mary. ... well, the views were great, the smells were refreshing, everything is so green and crisp, it is hard to describe, the water is so clear, we could see straight down to the bottom.
We started to make our way back to Lapu Lapu City around 4:30pm, we got back around 7:30pm, and we were all pretty tired. Tonight we will get ready to leave tomorrow; we are off to Puerto Princessa!

One of the things I'd wanted to eat while in the Philippines was halo-halo, but I'd been distracted by other things on the menu at each meal, or had been simply too full for dessert. (Really, it happens!)
