... listened to the BBC symphony orchestra playing on the esplanade along the beach. Have included pics of wooden statues of characters from Alice in Wonderland. This afternoon we drove across some of the most beautiful and in places rugged countryside we have seen to Port Meirion in the Snowdonia national park. ... across the bridge back to the Isle of Anglesey, a town called Llyfrgell. (I think this is Welsh for Menai Bridge, which is technically the town we're camping in.) ... I later climbed some stairs and looked down a random hole, only to realize it was the top of a chimney I had just been standing under.
