    I hope everyone had a great holiday and are enjoying good times with family and/or friends. Today i am thankful for finishing both the bathroom and dining room in time for our gathering this evening. in order to make today's deadline, however, some Sophie's Choices (bing it) needed to be made.

    i have FINALLY finished all the work in the living room. was it genius or madness to start with the biggest room? you can decide. after 2 coats of paint, one coat of primer, and one coat of stain on all the wood, it feels good to have at least one room completed. today i started painting mom's bedroom. hopefully i can finish her room this week because i have some friends coming over on Saturday to tackle the dining room. it has wallpaper everywhere. so i ...

    ... a little bit.

    next on the master list is painting all the rooms (thankfully we found a ton of painting supplies in the "stuff"), ripping up the carpets and redoing the master bathroom. it appears i wont get to Boston until next year, if at all. but i doubt ill be around for all this remodeling. will do what i can while I'm here. it gives my mind something to do. am glad i came...for now.

    So they have left, leaving just 60 staff members. Camp feels empty and yet there is a sense that it was time for them to leave. This feeling came mainly from the staff...the participants really fought leaving the camp, which I am taking as a compliment. The last two days have kind of moulded into two...the last night started with the banquet an amazing meal, followed by a talent show and then the participants were sent to one of the programme rooms to stay ...
