    ... ride - about 10 miles. Lunch was on the trail. Scenery was great. Junior ate. Julia took pictures. Choco and Dan explored off to the side - didnt find any antlers but it really was just an excuse not to be in a line.

    The girls rode with Hillary and again found a creek to play in. They were very disappointed to not lope.

    This day marked the first day in which we could to hike without instructors. It's something everyone had been looking forward to for quite some time: The ability to hike as a group of students.
