... It's got lots of shops which range from supermarkets to famous sausage butchers and brand name outlets to lovely dress shops. The pretty river Ribble runs around the town and the moors form a back drop. The caravan park is right next to the river so I just have to walk through a gate in the hedge to reach the river bank. 07:45 and the rain woke us up bouncing off the roof. Jayne opened the window blinds to see a queue of people waiting to set up for a car boot. Blimey, fair play to them. By the time we had dressed and had breakfast the rain had stopped so we had a quick walk around the tat on display. After that we took off and stopped off in Windermere for a quick look around. Turned out to be a really nice site and as it was getting late by now we walked into town to find a pub to eat.
