Boquete Paradise Hotel

... br>I'm going to do some copy writing for the owner of the hostel. He runs
several other businesses in town and is launching an adventure tourisim
outfit for backpackers. I'm quite happy to do this for him and I'm
interested in working something out with some of the other contacts
that I've made so that I can come back for a while longer to help them
grow their businesses. It would be a really great way to immerse and

So far, they've done a pretty good job at preserving its uniqueness and small size...and if you hurry down, you'll be able to experience the simplicity and relaxation that is Boquete.

... the Pianists Trail and had lunch on a little cluster of rocks running through a stream, with a friendly cow braying in the distance and some lovely dogs for me to play with on the way. A while later we were stopped by a local with a little roadside stall selling everything from freshly squeezed juices to hats and flags and he pursuaded us to try some of his orange and grapefruit juice, delicious after being hot and sweaty. ... the happy hour at our hotel and met some great people. Then we went out to dinner at Panamonte and had the most incredible Black Angus filet and hamburger, bottle of Argentinan white and tiramisu for under 50 bucks! Then we went out to Zanzibar, the hip little jazz bar (minus the jazz) in town, and ran into the same people from our hotel so we joined them for drinks and hookah. ... season started up in the mountains. The days started off incredibly hot in the mornings with bright blue sky and clouded over to heavy rain during the afternoons. Fewer and fewer people were coming to Paradise Gardens so it got a bit boring just sitting around. Definitely a good time to leave, I think.

... Finally got to Boquete around 8:30. SO maybe my parents aren't as crazy as i thought buying here. The house is beautiful, although a little empty and lacking in decorations (but I guess that's what you get when you rent out the house when you're not here). We'll see what things look like when the sun comes up. Has dinner in town at the Boquete Bistro owned by Loretta who sole my parents their house. Even as a light dinner food was good and for 5 of us we ate for under $50, including drinks.
