We took a little side road exit - completely random one looking for gas and breakfast. We eventually found both in a very French town where nobody spoke English and the menus had no English on them. We are very proud that we figured out enough to order ...

I was anxious about our departure but it all went smoothly after all. Up at 6am and quick muffin and coffee and we were off the ship with our luggage by 6.40am. Did not do us much good as taxi that we had pre-ordered for 7.30am could not arrive early. Our day driving finished in Kingston. A total of 162 km taking us 5 hours by bus. Told you it was slow. We held up in a park just outside of Kingston called Rideau Acres. This was a very nice campground. We had a beautiful spot next to the waters or the Rideau water way. As the sun went down and we finished a delicious meal the sun set was amazing. It was a great day in the magic bus.

The horror stories I feared last night didn't take place, but I did wake up to the news that the vet had been called out to tend to the old horse, Lightfoot, who was having some sort of asthma attack. I’d turned into bed when Emily and Cameron still weren’t back from the barn after midnight, thinking they were just taking a little extra time changing dressings for the blind horse, Beautiful, who had injured herself on an electric fence a few weeks ago, as well as ...
