    ... we had passed by many times, in Wakefield, but had to leave a message and no one ever called back. So we kept moving and found a place just west of Wakefield called Alpine Campground in Bessemer, MI. We pulled in and went to the office where it appears that a hoarder and her family live....and were not sure if we really wanted to stay here, but found out that further ahead, in Wakefiled, there were Boat Races going on at the lake where we thought we might find a place. ...

    ... all over town and didn't see much of interest. It looks like Ironwood is a dying town. The most exciting thing we found was the old train station. The Chamber of Commerce uses it for their offices, but that's about it. It's pretty sad. Today we crossed into the Central Time Zone. Just as we had finally gotten used to Eastern Time too. Tomorrow we're off the Duluth, MN. There is a very cool railroad museum there, so we expect to spend some time there before heading farther west. ...
