... 45 degrees and we hit 74 in the Florida panhandle!!! One we passed through Panama City and the big Air Force base we saw the waters of the Gulf for the first time! Evenings are especially dramatic as we watched spectacular sunsets and listened to the waves crashing on the beach - even as we drifted off to sleep. ... was damp and it wasn’t very successful. I had a “mini-fire” that was about 10x the size of a candle and smoked terribly. My neighbours both had great big fires which made things even worse…
