... in all 3 courses. Sofia was asleep when we got there but woke up just after the first course arrived. She was fine to start off with, but got a little fractious when the main course arrived (although she thoroughly enjoyed Julie's mushroom soup starter) - the Executive Chef (and owner) was walking past and offered to take her for a while (on a tour of the kitchen :-) ) whilst we ate our meal - can you imagine that happening in a decent London restaurant!
Joleens' friend Rob Jackson owns The Sports Page Bar and Grill in Tigard, Oregon. He has a funky old purple cadillac limosine (The Bootymobile) which he rents out to people. Joleen took advantage of the offer and we toured wineries with a "designated driver" Mike). A great day of wine tasting and visiting.
... we went! By the time we got to fall 7 (and mile 5) we had a real choice. We decided to split up - Julie and Francesca would walk on to the 2 north falls (2 miles) and I would walk past fall 8 and back to the car (2miles) and them drive to the north falls to meet them. Glad we chose that option as the winter falls (no. 8) lived up to its name and was just about a trickle ...
... the day rather than at night with all the lights on :) We arrived at Dundee and our intended hotel around 5:30 and soon all settled in. Most if the wineries shut at 5 do we didnt get to sample a great deal today. How ever the hotel plays just to 3 cellars - one if which is open till 6 - so we felt compelled to taste their daily flight. Pleasant but not outstanding :) after that we went into the restuarant at the hotel (paulee's) which is a well known smart place and had a lovely ...
