By the time we were all done and cleared, we had just enough time for a quick snack and we were at the gate ready to board the flight to DC. Ironically enough, we ended up boarding exactly the same plane we had flown ...

... because they booked it. Senegal Air wouldn't tell us anything except the small amount of info on their website. It ended up being fine all the way. The Senegal Air flight was cancelled and provided by Brussels Airlines 36 hours later. They have the same sport equipment exemptions, though none of the airlines actually measured the linear length of any of our bags.
