    ... now stands. After lunch I drove for a time until we reached Petoskey via the 131. We took a tour of the Kilwins chocolate/fudge factory and samples some of their tuttles. They also sell this fudge on Mackinac island.

    Had dinner at Dixie's saloon and restaurant in Mackinaw City. It is a real tourist town with lots of fudge, candy and souvenir shops. I had half a slab of ribs and took over half of it home. it was great to be served ...

    Went to the Soo Locks which is quite a tourist strip. Quite a few people there but not out on the streets in the rain. Watched the water rising in the lock and ships getting ready to enter and one leaving from another lock. The rail bridge over to Canada has two spans which open to let the ships through.     On the road again this morning. Leaving St. Ignace, MI and heading to Bay City State Park in Bay City,MI. Will need to stop at a Camping World on the way to replace our RV water pump. We received our new cards from Visa. They were so helpful and overnighted them to us. We've got to keep building our miles for Spain! We all enjoyed the little town of St. Ignace.     ... of travel time. We docked at Wright's Landing Marina in Oswego, NY where we met more Loopers - Tom and Nancy on Terrapin. They live in Petosky, MI and are getting close to completing their Loop. They provided lots of detailed information about the North Channel which they have cruised for many years.     ... charge from Trump Center in Mexico. Both were denied and the account flagged. Visa feels like these were test charges to see if they would be honored.
