Anyway, not much to report from today. If you have ever driven out of Florida, you know it is mostly flatland broken by periodic rolling hills and Cafe Risque´ billboards. We are looking forward to spending as much time as we can in Austin tomorrow. Prepare yourselves. Delicious food pictures are coming.

... distance to grab a quick drink. She inquired whether we were looking for a "snobby bar with expensive drinks....or a gay bar...or" ummm not really either of those. Not sure what kind of vibe I am giving off here. Then she suggested a place that was all you can drink for $10, we decided to just go to bed.

... stop. The water was 72 degrees but still a slight shock at first. A mama and baby manatee immediately came towards us.

The mama was big but not as big as some of the others we saw later, some swimming and some sleeping along the bottom. They are about 1500 lbs or so, so that can be a little intimidating. The company was great, Kaffeeklatsch was great and Dieter serves me only fresh coffee as opposed to the left-over-the-weekend-in-my-classroom-s he'll-never-notice coffee from our days at Saint Martin. ;-)
